Our 4m bell tents have all the features of a luxury bell tent. We use heavy duty pegs and guy ropes with wooden sliders. The thicker guy ropes are stronger and the wooden sliders keep their grip better and look great as well. We use 285 gsm natural cotton canvas for the main tent and a tough 540 gsm hard wearing PVC for the groundsheet. All our groundsheets are the zip in kind, keeping bugs and the rain out. All windows and doors have dual insect mesh and there are air vents in the roof apex.
The 4m bell tent is our most popular size tent. It can sleep 4 people on two double air beds or 6-8 people on camping mats. It is the perfect size for small families and couples. If you want a bit of extra space it works well with the Explorer Awning which is made of the same canvas and has been designed to fit on the front of the bell tent but can also be erected freestanding.
